T-Rex Manufacturing began in 1985 when Rex Jones started producing parts for the earthmoving and demolition industries in Melbourne, Victoria. It was hands-on work from the start, built on a simple belief that quality and reliability matter.

In 2005, Rex's eldest son Simon joined the business. Together they spotted a growing need for high quality steel water tanks, and the business evolved. What began as building water trucks became something bigger: manufacturing the precision components that make them work.

Today, T-Rex has grown from a Melbourne workshop into a global operation, trusted by industries that can't afford second-rate equipment. Behind the scenes, our R&D team is always working on what's next, making sure we stay ahead of the curve.
